The French Youth Hostels package their winter stays in the
mountains into one week holidays complete with lift passes.
The arrival time at most hostels is on the Sunday morning
for breakfast with departure on the final Saturday afternoon.
Saturday night at the start of the holiday is usually available
as an extra.
However,
outside the French School Holidays you can choose your
own dates at most hostels. The exceptions are Tignes
and Les Deux Alpes though they may
be flexible before Christmas. The French school Holidays
are Christmas and New Year. The last 3 weeks in February
and the 1st week in March and most of April.
